For that, we really need to maintain mental health. There are three components of mental health that we must know, namely as follows:

A healthy mind will be reflected in how we think or how our thinking patterns are. A person who has a healthy mind will have a purpose in every action. In fact, he will have a clear purpose in life and write out strategies to achieve that goal clearly and measurably. Of course, all that he made based on his way of thinking by considering various aspects of his life.

Usually, someone who has a healthy mind will be rational and not excessive. They will be more humble, not arrogant, willing to learn and improve themselves. They are also more able to respect others and adapt to the conditions around them. So, from here we can know that people who have a healthy mind will usually also be emotionally healthy by itself. Emotional health is also very important for us to keep as an effort to maintain our mental health. Emotional healthy will be seen from our ability to express the emotions we are experiencing. For example, how when we are happy, sad, even angry.

Feeling sad, angry and happy is very human and can be felt by every human being. An emotionally healthy person can feel comfortable and accept all the feelings and emotions he experiences. So, they will not feel the need to cover up their feelings so that they are more able to channel them with the control of their minds. One characteristic of a person having healthy emotions is that he is able to make decisions with all the emotions and thoughts experienced, especially when his condition is being pushed.

A healthy spiritual is also a healthy mental forming component. A healthy spiritual can be seen from the way we are grateful, optimistic and confident about what is beyond our power and in the control of God Almighty. With a healthy spiritual, we will always guard our worship and observe the religious rules it believes in.

A person who is spiritually healthy will feel a calm soul and a clear mind. Nor will they commit unnatural or irrational actions. This is because they believe that there is something else that is beyond their control and they feel at ease that there is a God who helped organize their lives.

Looking at the components of mental health above, then we know that all three are related to each other. That is, our mental health can only be said if the three components are in good condition. Therefore, we need to be able to maintain mental health with all three components. Keep in mind that mental health can be affected by two factors, namely internal and external factors, both of which affect each other.

Internal factors, namely factors that come from within a person, such as nature, personality, talent, descent, and others. Thus, mental health can be caused by the presence of shyness, intelligence, self-potential, and other things that are naturally present in the person.

External factors, namely factors that are outside of the self that person can also affect the person’s mental. For example, family environment, school, friendship and others. Other factors, namely factors such as law, ethics, politics, and religion that can also affect one’s mental health.
